Last week we went to the coast for an over night trip and after returning I still had about a half of a 36 exposure roll in the M4. I started out towards one of my regular spots which is normally busy on the weekends. My first trip through, someone scooted trough a stop sign in front of me and took the parking spot I was headed for. Abandoned that idea and found some construction equipment and used the rest of the roll there. Still had a roll of Tri-X in my pocket, loaded the camera and headed back to Multnomah Village for one more try. Turned a corner and there was an open parking spot! Got out of the car and began to wander. I was walking past a consignment clothing shop and the proprietor had a cell phone on a tripod and was making a video of a young woman modeling an outfit. I stopped, I had my L-308 in had and took an incident reading for fun, we chatted for a bit, they asked about my camera and I gave them a few suggestions on how to improve lighting. Wished them a pleasant day then continued on to photograph some crumbling concrete.

I’m confused too, was it ( the thing occurred to you) that you had film left in your camera? Or that you should take the opportunity to go out and photograph something? Either way , sounds like you had a great time!!! Serendipity is sure nice šŸ‘

How about I passed up the opportunity to photograph a young model and decided to focus on the texture of crumbling concrete. Make sense now?

It is sort of like a Robert Altman movie :whistling:

So you ran into a brick [block] wall? Did that hurt?

Henny Youngman is alive and well...
