While in Kauai I did a search of camera stores near me. I found a company that is a camera store and does regular photo tours. They seem to have a good business going on.

A slightly different twist on that...Ansel Adams Gallery has been giving photo walks for decades in Yosemite Valley, in addition to the workshops. In the case of the AA Gallery, not only does it create potential business (the photo walks are free, I believe), but it demonstrates that the Gallery adds positive value to the park visitor experience -- which is important for a business operating on public land in a national park.
 
I have taken one of the Yosemite walk. I had driven the road 43 years ago and a few days ago and skipped some of the pull offs due to their sudden appearances. I looked at the photos and decided to redrive the road early this morning. I missed some of his stops, but those were mainly beaches and I already knew what I was looking for.
