Hi Parker, that's a beautiful portrait. Fitting the Pictorialism period around 1900. Something I like to try myself.
I never preflashed before. Can you tell me how you did this with DPP?
Thanks.
What's the effective speed of this paper?

There was someone a few years ago who posted a series of studio portraits (i.e. with strobes) made on DPP in an 8x10. They were very impressive.
So how does it work?
You mean in black and white? I don't recall that paper unless one could reversal process Panalure, which might have been possible.
But if there were a panchromatic version of normal contrast for that it would be very cool.
Or do you mean type R color paper for color prints from slides? I miss that too.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk and 100% recycled electrons - because I care.
Apparently it uses a standard black and white paper developing process and not a reversal process, so I guess it must reverse itself as you say somehow. How does the emulsion reverse itself? I've read somewhere that it's based on Ilford Cibachrome technology. Someone more informed than I will chime in, hopefully.

well, to be more precise, the 10x8 paper will fit 10x8 holders. the other sizes won't.
Thanks, didn't have anything else in mind. Was more curious about thickness of FB vs. film.

Dear All,
As promised a little time ago ....... http://goo.gl/T2wz7d

I wish I knew a monobath developer formula for this paper to use it as a Polaroid replacement
I only found this and it doesn't seem to be ...So, just wondering, would the New55 R3 Monobath Developer be able to develop Ilford's DPP? See here:

"Peter, Yes, I use R3 on paper and it works very well.
It does not work well with Ilford's Direct Positive paper, but I have a formula that does work with that paper. If I have time in the next few weeks I will try to fine tune it and show the results, and provide the details."

"Direct positive paper requires a different monobath. The Paterson Orbital sort of works, but not well. 1 minute exposure, f8, 300mm. R7 BC"
"Which direct positive paper did you use?"
"Efke"
