Sure it will go a collector but number of people who bid this item some how show there is no diminishing interest in film gear or photography.

It's more like 75 to 80 bids from the same bidder, and the bids are clustered in groups within a few seconds of each other.
So yeah, looks legit.

Many years ago one lady was selling an unused OM1 for €150.

I was just beginning to get into film photography and 150 seem way too much then.

Now not a day passes without thinking about the offer now...

Check the bidding history, there are only few interested, a trick play I always thought ebay ought to ban. Upbidding oneself multiple times to make things look like a lot of interest around and discourage others from participating.

This is to discourage others from going in, not price hiking, at least not most of the time. Ebay does check on this when advised and if they see any link to seller, they will stop the auction.

I never liked my OM4. The finder was dimmer due to the semi-silver mirror needed for the metering and while the highlight/shadow metering was interesting, knowing you wanted to protect shadows or highlights was as easily (maybe not as accurately) done with exposure comp on the really great metering system on the OM2n.

I am already set with what i will ever own in the OM Series.
I ask simply out of curiosity...... do you also have a OM1(n) or any OM3 variant.?

I still have an OM1 and a OM2n. Never owned a OM1n or an OM2s. I owned a OM4 and sold it. It did drain the battery with the camera just sitting and I believe this issue was resolved with the OM4Ti but it has the same semi silver mirror which I believe an Om3 also has.

I have a OM3, which has the same battery drain issues.
I have not used it enough, yet, for it to be a problem.
But i suppose it will be when i shoot it for several Days/Weeks.

My OM4T was a local CL acquisition many years ago now and is still in perfectly working condition with no battery drain issue or any others for that matter.

My OM3 was a KEH "as-is not working" buy that only needed batteries. Even at that it still wasn't that inexpensive. It is still working perfectly with no battery drain issues or anything else.

I only wished they would have kept the huge magnifications from the OM1&2.

Yeah, not sure if part of it was the semi-silver mirror needed for the spot metering system or a change in magnification, but the viewfinder just wasn't as nice as the OM-1 / OM-2

I have not used my OM-3 enough to notice.
I will need to compare it to the OM-1n

OM cameras are too small for my XXL hands. I was a F2 guy. My friend would taunt me with his collection of razor sharp lenses. I could never find the shutter speed on my Dad's Nikkormat so there's that too.
I worked for a division of the Raytheon folks. A team from Massachusetts was sent to Siberia (Iowa) to be closer to us. There was a Olympus kit like I've never seen again. Titanium bodies amazing lenses etc. One of the (honest) technicians sent it all to KEH and they used the proceeds to buy some new piece of equipment.

It's just a spec difference when compared to the OM1&2. Most all manual focus SLRs seem to have a VF magnification between 0.7X to 0.8X so I was pleased to learn that the OM1&2 has 0.92X. However, it is still plenty bright and the built-in diopter adjustment is very convenient compared to a screw on type on most all others.

Having time on my hands with Covid Lockdown, I have got some use out of my pair of OM1n s and it has been a blast. They had been neglected in favor of my Nikons, but I had forgotten just how big and bright their viewfinders really are. Perfect for available light portraits. Jane Bown used them exclusively for a good deal of her career and it seems, she chose wisely.

I never handled Nikons but for my hobby OM-1/2 (n) are good enough to make photos. I may 4 OM-1n silver and one black.

If I get one more I may get OM-1n silver, the black feels bit dull (but I desired it very long to have one).

I don't know Zuiko 2.0's are worth to collect except ultra wide I got all the lenses till 135mm.

I have one of each. A Black OM1n I bought new in 1985 and a Chrome that is in nearly new condition that I bought in about 1989. Different look is handy when loaded with different film stock.
