Kodak's Motion Picture film division posted a link to this article from the local Rochester NY Newspaper on facebook:

http://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/money/2015/03/14/kodak-makes-film-rochester/70299168/

Assuming that the pay wall lets you into the article, (It asked me to vote in a poll to get in) the article has many photos showing

a) Polyester film base making
b) Coating control room
c) Movie film packaging
d) still film packaging.

If it turns out you need to link the article though facebook, the Kodak Movie folks are at:

Look closly at the picture showing current 35mm film production, while they DON'T Show a package of Tri-X they DO have an Arista Premium Box on display. Nice to see solid proof.

Very nice. Thanks for the sharing. film production dubai is best from all other you can check images of this. Check Well There is also a strong demand for 5222 XX but I wonder for how long as color conversion to B&W is pretty simple these day.

Long time lurker here ( super long really )...

Great to see this, thanks for sharing.

While I use a lot of Ilford films I also use Kodak equally and really love to see any positive vibes sent their way in what ever form it may be.

Saw the pictures. GREAT pictures. Looks like the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility it is!! Let's hope they keep making TMAX 100 and Tri-X for more years to come !

I wonder if this means it might come back!??

Nah. That newspaper probably doesn't even have a photo staff. Those are likely old pictures being paraded around once again for the "retro" junkies. :whistling:

It still does have a photo staff

That is a bit unusual anymore but certainly good news. I wonder if those pictures were all new or were some of them from older photo sessions?b

The photographer, MAX SCHULTE, is still on the D&C staff, so the chances are good they are new images.

So there you have it NedL. Maybe Arista Premium does have a chance at a comeback.

How 'bout that! New film from Bregger, CHS 100 from Adox not that long ago, Ferraria. Who knows, maybe we'll see Arista premium come back again. It's not all doom and gloom in the film world.
