ILFORD FILM DEVELOPER ID-2

This is a rapid developer intended for tray processing of sheets and plates. It can be further diluted for use with tank processing as well.

ID-68 is not similar to D76 at all, it's similar to Microphen. Ilford did publish (there was a url link here which no longer exists) in the 1950's and 60's.

Ilford published all their formulae with "Anhydrous" Sodium Sulphite & Sodium Carbonate (after WWII) and there are many mistakes in formulae taken from the Photo Lab Index where the conversions are incorrect, or formulae miss typed. One consequence is that they are a huge number of errors in most US books containing formulae and only those published by Ilford, Kodak etc themselves should be used as references.

FYI, I merely wanted to post recipes for reference here on APUG. And there may well be errors. I have triple checked and have relayed the info as I have received it. As Ian points out, that is not to say that those who provided it were not in error originally.

And another remark to the ID-68. It has been mentioned here on another recent thread that Dimezone-S can be substituted at a rate of 1.27x the volume of the phenidone.

What about ID-11 Plus? I was using it and dropped out of darkroom work for a number of years and when I returned, it was gone.
