What is with all the clothing on the street?? Also the second last image looks like someone about to be hanged?

Wonderful street shots. The hanging scene was that of a well known rebel who was trying to devise a camera that used light only on a card instead of film. If you look carefully there is one gent in the crowd who is particularly keen to see justice done and who seems to be foreign. Some say that it was a Mr Eastman from the U.S. :D
