Got this with a kit, shot with it for a bit and went to a 300/2.8 because this wasn't heavy enough and I prefer 600mm over 500mm if I can get it. Better image quality than any of the 500mm mirrors, plus the ability to zoom out and stop down for more DOF.

Zoom and focus are all nice and smooth. Couple small rub marks in the paint on the barrel.

Glass is very good, couple weird dings in the filter threads as shown which is the only issue I've found on this.

No adaptall-2 mount is included at this price.
