PRICE REDUCED.
Bought this a few years back with the usual fantasies born of GAS to use as a view camera and, well, here we are.
But it is lovely, if a bit worn. The crackle paint is chipped, the handle is a replacement from a thrift store leather belt. There's a scratch on the ground glass which doesn't bother anything. Revolving back works very well, if a little stiff.
But the camera itself is beausage lovely. It's a user, the kind of gear you don't mind hauling out on a hike when you don't want to ding the Zone VI but still want amazing images.
It sports a 127mm f 4.7 Ektar, one of the premier large format lenses. This one is clear and clean, no scratches, no cleaning marks, no fog, no Schneideritis. The Kodak Supermatic shutter works smoothly at all speeds and sounds accurate. A service never hurts but the camera can be used out of the box.
Rangefinder is accurate although the mirror image in it is a bit dim. Still, I could use it no problem. Includes extension tube on the rangefinder view lens to make things easier to see. Bellows are solid.
So: $200 which will include shipping to anywhere in the US that the Postal Service delivers to. I am happy to take Paypal. I'll even throw in a couple film holders if that will tip you over the edge.
Paypal and email is: summicron12000@yahoo.com. If you live anywhere near Ogden, Utah, come by and pick it up and I'll knock off $10 and buy you lunch.
Thanks for looking
