I've got a great conditon Rolleiflex 2.8FX for sale. This is the latest model, you can see the serial number at the top of the finder so feel free to check what date it corresponds to.

I would say it is in very good external conditon but this is not collector's mint. I am a user not a collector, so please check the photos carefully, there are a number of nicks and rubs around. The most prominent you can see in the last photo you can see there is a bit of wear on the finder where it rubs at the front (where it touches the metal as it unfolds) and the rear corner. Also there is a mark on the leatherette on the bottom left corner when looking at the back of the camera, probably where it rubs as the camera is carried on a strap.

The glass is unmarked as far as I can see, certainly the photos come back with incredible clarity and shaprness as expected by a Rolleiflex.

Everything works perfectly and smoothly, I am using this camera regularly (2-3 rolls/month) and have never had a problem with it. The meter works perfectly, the LEDs are bright and I have just replaced the battery. The photos it produces are amazing.

There are a few light marks on the screen, I have exaggerated those in the last photo so you can see them. I don't find them distracting and they only show against bright backgrounds (sky, bright wall, etc) but please check the photo carefully. I also have a clean and very bright Maxwell screen (plain matte) that I can provide for an extra cost.

I am also including the original lens caps and a metal hood.

To summarise this is what you get:
Rolleiflex 2.8FX camera
Original lens cap
Metal hood
Extra battery

You may notice the small red tabs hanging from the strap lugs. These are PeakDesign anchor links. I will remove them prior to shipping (they are nylon that loops through the normal strap lugs).

Overall this is a fantastic camera, however I am selling as I cannot continue carrying around such an expensive piece of kit, plus two kids running around such an expensive camera is not the best of ideas! Plus I want to get an RZ67 ProII, happy to discuss a swap if you have one.

Due to the value of the camera I would prefer local collection. I can meet you in central London or Edinburgh. If you want this posted I will post via UPS fully insured, we can work out specifics later.

I think the price is reasonable given the rarity. The nearest on ebay is over £4500 for a prototype with peeling covers (+21% tax for EU buyers!).
