Up next... a superb example of the N2000, which is perhaps the greatest 35mm film camera ever made..
Everything is top notch here - no dents/dings/scratches. No corrosion in the battery chamber. No dust in the VF!
Everything works. Classic Nikon 60/40 meter pattern, shutter speeds up to 1/2000, AE lock.

The lens is the later edition Series E 50 1.8 - where Nikon really improved the build quality over the nasty early plastic thing.
Excellent results, no issues.

$70 for both + $15.50 USPS express mail tracked etc etc.

Any issues etc, send it back.

This camera really is one of the most underrated Nikons out there. Just a really good camera that does exactly what you need to get the shot.

And here I thought that you would never sell it. Is it really as easy to focus as the reviews say it is?

A solid setup – I've used the same pairing and was happy with how that body handles and meters. GLWS.

Everything is really easy with this camera. And the handling is perfect with this lens.

It's just the realization that I have accumulated too much gear..

It is awesome setup, I use it often, also with 100mm E Series. Focusing is very easy, bright viewfinder.

Thanks!. This camera is so under the radar. Think Nikon FG but with more capability and reliability! And the viewfinder LEDs are very easy to read, unlike many cameras of that era.

No. It is basically an AE camera with built in motor winder.
The N2000 was the very first Nikon camera I bought (used in 1989). Awesome camera and lens. I have a few copies now. George, the AF version 2020 does have an in focus light indicator.

Why are you selling this “all what Leica is supposed to be” Nikon?

Too many cameras. Yes. that actually can happen!
The problem was I would see killer deals, swoop in telling myself I can use it for a roll or two, then sell it. Problem was I never did the 'then sell it' part...
So now I am!

This sounds familiar – I need to get to the "sell" part as well

It was my first SLR of my very own - circa 1985ish, also bought used with a Tomina zoom! Awesome camera and I still have it somewhere, but it stopped working about 30 years ago.

Ya know, I may have just the replacement for you! If only I could remember where I placed that ad..
