Brad, I had one of these 50mm lenses that came with my original Nikkormat in late-1968. I used that lens all over the world in gentle and brutal weather. These Japanese 1960s optics were superb mechanically and optically. I almost wish I still had Nikon cameras....

...but, yeah. It is a fantastic lens. The optical performance never disappoints. I've decided to sell most / all of my pre-AI Nikon gear. Time to set it free and let some one else enjoy it for a while.
