The Series E lenses have their high and low spots, but the fast 35 is one of the higher spots. This is an AIS lens so it will work in everything from full manual to full program mode. The barrel on this example is very fresh but not perfect - let's give it an A-minus. Aperture is fast and snappy. Focus is smooth and buttery. Mount has no appreciable wear. Glass is clean and clear but does not have the wet look of a lens that has had a UV filter on it since it left the store. Let's give it an A-minus also. (The white/yellow spots on the picture of the rear element are just reflections of the pinpoint lights overhead. They are not actually present on the glass.)
