Cosmetically excellent condition goggled Summaron 35. Cleaning marks on the glass - but no effect in shooting.
This lens was created to allow Leica M3 users to shoot a 35mm lens, as the goggles give the 35mm field of view while using the 50mm frame lines! An ingenious albeit complicated way of doing things!
So any M camera you put this on will pull up the 50mm frame lines when this is attached. This is why YOU DO NOT REMOVE the goggles from this lens! If you do, it still pulls up the 50mm frame lines, but now w/o the goggles you do not have the wide 35mm FOV.
Bottom line - leave the goggles on!!!

Now that has been sorted, it works wonderfully with any film Leica, and I just tried it out with my M240 for fun! Works like a charm. Pics attached - all shot wide open at 3.5 (!)

Oh yeah, $550 shipped/pp. No front lens cap but I will include the very nice OG Leica clip on hood which is quite the deal! (At least in my mind it is).

I used the M2 version of this lens for many years. It really is an amazing little optic. You know the story: I should have never sold mine.
