My glorious Leica M5 is for sale, the camera is solid and a blast to use. the overhang shutter speed dial is something that should just be a part of camera design...
the good
+ was CLA'd March 2018 by Sherry Krauter (have email correspondence but cant locate invoice)
+ upgraded battery electronics for 1.5 (76's)
+ enhanced shutter speed dial for superior clicks
+ meter fully operative (and dead on)
+ zero working issues with the camera
the not as good (there is no bad!)
+ the vulcanite is chipped in some places but is not chipping or flaking. Please note the photos. I have replacement 'leather/wrap' for the camera. it's a fairly easy job to replace, ive done it with another m5 sold here. I'd say its 4 hour job.
+ Its worn all around but not rough, the black chrome doesnt 'brass' but has a worn denim look about it. Please note the photos. I've tagged areas of attention.
- since the CLA ive just not shot as much with a big drop in 2020. The camera will be missed but I really believe cameras should be used not sitting around. It needs a good home. This one is smoke free and I take care of all my gear, you'll be happy with this.
$1200 firm. That covers the 3% PayPal (only) and the USPS flatrate with Insurance within the lower 48.
