Item 1. Kodak Retina Reflex IV camera
sn: EK714595. Film tested (see contact sheet). Selenium light meter works but reads about one f-stop low. Viewfinder is clean Some brass showing due to worn paint, but it looks pretty good, overall (see photos). With Kodak brown leather ever-ready case and Kodak Owner's Manual.
Item 2. Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Xenar 50mm f/2.8 lens, 9596739. Surfaces and coatings are clear and clean, free from scratches; no fungus or haze that I can see. Moderate internal dust. Aperture blades are clean. Aluminum barrel is clean and corrosion free, and all scale markings look good.
Item 3. Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Curtagon, 35mm f/2.8 lens, 9704878
Surfaces and coatings are clean, free from scratches; no fungus. Aperture blades are clean. Small scuff on chrome part of barrel. Images taken with this lens look very good.
Item 4. Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Tele-Xenar 135mm f/4 lens
with Kodak plastic dome case. No scratches or defects on outside glass surfaces, but there is moderate internal haze on one of the rear elements, and images suffer from slightly reduced contrast. Aluminum barrel looks very good.
Item 5. Set of Six Close-up Lenses
- Kodak Retina Close-up Lens Set, Type R; set of 3 lenses: 1:4.5, 1:3, and 1:2; made in Germany. Includes Kodak instructions. When screwed onto the front of the Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Xenar 50mm f/2.8 lens, this set covers the film-to-subject distance from 11-3/16" to 5-3/4". The R 1:4.5 has a small nick in the coating of the internal surface; otherwise, all are in good, clean condition, with beautiful chromed rings.
- Kodak Retina Close-up Lens Set Type N
Two screw-in lenses: NI/32 and NII/32, made in Germany. When used with the Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Xenar 50mm f/2.8 lens, this set covers the film-to-subject distance from 38-1/4" to 11-5/8". No issues with condition of lenses, but one plastic case is cracked.
- Edmund Scientific Co. "Positive meniscus lens, better grade and coated. Dia 32.5mm, FL 78.3mm" This lens has been mounted in a threaded Kodak Adapter Ring Series 5, No. 532, made in USA. There a small flaw in the lens coating, right at the very edge where the glass meets the adapter ring, which is unlikely to affect image quality.
