I have for sale a Jobo tank (2236) with a special Jobo reel (2021) to develop 9x12cm sheet films.
The reel takes up to 6 sheets.

Price: 50,-€
I'm located in germany.
Worldwide shipping by registered mail and Paypal fees are included.

btw: I can also provide you the standard reels for this tank to develop 35mm/120/127 film for 10€ apiece

I'd be interested in purchasing this. Two quick questions:

1) You mention that the 2021 reel is for 9x12 sheet film. Is it also compatible with 4x5 film? Based on my understanding of the various Jobo systems, I believe that it is, but thought it prudent to ask first.
2) What is the outside diameter of the tank? I want to make sure this is the tank that was designed to fit the circular tank slot of the Jobo TBE-2.

9x12cm is NOT 4x5"!
4x5" is 10,2x12,7cm

This is significantly larger than 9x12cm. You need different film holders, so you need different developing reels.
The 2021 reel is fixed to 9x12cm. It is not adjustable.

What you need is a 2509 reel that is adjustable to both sizes and this reel will only fit the Jobo 2500 tank system, not the 2000 system as you see it above.

The misunderstanding of 9x12 related to 4x5 is widely spread... ;-)

If you are interested i can measure the diameter later today. I'm not at my studio at the moment.
All i can say is, that the diameter is in between the 1500 and the 2500 system tanks.

Btw: the tank is already reserved.

No worries, Lutz. I was asking about the 9x12 vs. 4x5 aspect of the reel because everything I've ever seen about the elliptical 2021 reels is that they are for 4x5 film (other posts here at Photrio seem to confirm this). My guess is that, like the 2509n reels, the 2021 can accept both 4x5 and 9x12 sheets, with the caveat that it holds 9x12 sheets with slightly less tension owing to their smaller size. I already own a few 2500 series reels and tanks and was interested in the 2236+2021 for the purpose of developing 4x5 sheets in the Jobo TBE-2 tempering bath (the 2500 tanks do not fit the TBE-2). If, however, someone's already claimed the tank, don't give it a second thought. Best of luck with your sale.

That doesn't mean that other posts at photrio are wrong, but that i think there are 2021 reels in both sizes.
That is new for me too. I though it would be the 2023 reel that is for 4x5...
So, this discussion is of help for both of us: one has to measure always the real size of a 2021 reel.
The reel that i offered is definitely for using 9x12cm sheets only.

Btw: The diameter of the tank is exactly 11,8cm
