SOLDAn interesting compact 9x12 format folding camera with ground glass back and a removable (plate?) back. Lens is Steinheil Munchen Doppelanastigmat Unofokel F4.5 135mm in Compur shutter. Dates from 1920's/ 30's.

This is a project camera that needs a few repairs: ground glass is missing a corner and needs replaced. Compur shutter works fine, no cocking needed for B and T. Lens has some slight haze that could be polished off. Bellows are supple with a few pinholes in the bottom. "Plate" holder has slight bend in back.

Dimensions folded are about 6.5 x 4.5 x 2 inches. Weighs about 2 lbs. 4 oz. with ground glass back.

$35 plus postage.

That looks to be a fair price considering the condition. I picked up one at a flea market for more but in better condition of course. One can easily make a new ground glass.

Apparently a dialyte type lens that may or may not cover 4x5 at small apertures.
