For sale is a Horseman LX-C 5x7 camera in excellent condition, with one exception noted below. The camera appears to have been barely used. Horseman 5x7 cameras are quite rare, and this is the even rarer LX-C model, with the Focus Computer. This was Horseman's flagship model with all the bells and whistles to make studio photographers' lives easier. The camera comes with a telescoping rail that extends from 460mm to 700mm, standard and wide angle bellows, standard 4x5 bellows and an intermediate standard. It has geared focus over the entire focusing range, geared rise/fall and shift, manual unlimited center tilt, manual swing and yaw-free base tilt.
All movements are smooth and the locks are firm. The bubble levels are full. All three bellows are light-tight and supple. The focusing screen is bright and clear.
The LCD on the Focus Computer is faint, and is difficult to read. For those of you with some basic skills in electronics, it may be an easy fix. Perhaps you could just swap the LCD for a new one.
I will include a scanned copy of the instruction manual.
