Horseman Convertible w/2x 6x9 backs, viewfinders, CLA’d
The fairly rare Horseman Convertible camera has a 62mm f5.6 scale focus lens, and can accept any Graflex-style roll film back. This gives you great versatility in format and lens angle. With the two (2) included Horseman brand 6x9 backs, the lens has an 35mm equivalent of about 28mm. And big, gorgeous 6x9 negatives.
The lens and shutter were just overhauled by Frank Marshman (Camera Wiz), so the lens is like new, super clean, and the shutter speeds are accurate. Both backs have good light seals, and very even spacing. They hold the film very flat. They work great, and are easy to load.
The Convertible came with a wire finder, included here, but I’ve found that using a Mamiya 65mm Finder is much more comfortable. The Mamiya Finder also includes four little detents to show the 6x7 frame, if you choose to pick up a 6x7 back or two along the way.
This is a great, pretty lightweight, medium format point and shoot camera.
