The lens, original in barrel (aluminum) was mounted by S K Grimes by previous owner. They made a phalange (included) to mount it since, after incorporating the shutter, it needed a larger one. You must increase the lens board hole to 75mm to fit this baby, it will not go on a Copal 3 board hole.
A second consequence of the mount is a loss of 1/3 stop. Grimes made a mark on the shutter to remind you.
If you want the a chart of the actual shutter speeds I will include one when shipping.
The glass is amazingly well preserved and there is not even the usual cleaning marks. The leafs are pristine and open and close smoothly.
The shuter functions perfectly and there is no problem whatsoever with it.
The two caps on the photos are also included.
The Image circle is 518 (probably more since Sneider were quite conservative with these lenses) so it has lots of movement on 8x10 to 11x14 and beyond.
All and all a rare excellent example of this lens and it is multicoated to boot.
$1100 US shipped free only to any US State. International shipping price will depend on country, etc
Payment by PP or MO
