Clearing room on the camera shelf. I have a isolette III purchased from from a seller that had a CLA "a couple of years ago" from Jurgen Kreckel (certo6). The seller stated is started to have a double exposure prevention problem in that it wouldn't trip / release the shutter when advanced. It turns out there are two metal tabs on a cylinder inside the winding knob that trips the mechanism. It was an easy fix of ever so slightly bending out the tabs and good as new. The bellows were original and claimed to be light tight, but I put on a like new one from a kodak 66. I did an additional cleaning inside and out as well as treating the leather case with beeswax. I have to say this has got to be one of the cleanest old cameras I have ever owned or seen. The focus is smooth and the shutter works on all the settings. The only blemish is a tiniest of tiny mark on the inside of the rangefinder glass that doesn't show up when looking through it. $120 OBO w/ shipping in lower 48 states.

You mean: "I have an Isolette III purchased from a seller [who] picked it up from Jurgen Kreckel." Is this to say that Jurgen Kreckel worked on it? I'm surprised he kept the original bellows on it and didn't fix the double exposure lockout. This would suggest that the shutter hasn't been cla'd. Or has it?

Anyway, I have the Isolette II version (without the uncoupled rangefinder) and I probably take more pictures with it than any other camera I have. Great camera.

That's a good point, I don't know if he bought it from Jurgen or Jurgen CLAed it. The double exposure lockout stopped working at a later date (as stated by the seller). Either way the bellows seemed light tight to me, but brittle and the edges looked like they could go at any time. Honestly I wanted the practice of replacing the bellows myself without the hassle of having to get a CLA on the camera. The original listing from ebay is gone, so I edited my posting to provide some clarity. It was obvious from disassembling for the bellows replacement that it's been cleaned thoroughly, not to mention all the shutter movements and focus is buttery smooth.

*BUMP* I was able to find some of the original ebay listing info when I bought it. This camera was not purchased from certo6 but had a CLA by him about two-three years ago before developing the exposure lockout problem that I fixed. BTW I'll accept a reasonable best offer! I've already got this camera wrapped in bubble wrap and ready to go. A fujica GS645 with bad bellows has taken it's place on my camera shelf.
