In the end, all that matters is that the OP gets his degree...if I remember rightly, he was doing well with grades.
Life these days is a little harder without one.

All I am going to say about this is that I wished when I was in college I took more pictures. I have just a handful of pictures of my friends, roommates and such. I was too busy with school to take the time and I kind of regret it. You might say that people have cell phones for that type of stuff now but how many of those images are going to make it through the years? This is the reason I still shoot film...

This post was started in Feb. 2016. Then in June the OP started a thread where he got a Nikon F4, no mention of his Leica. Hmm....

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Nothing of this matters because North Korea is going to start a nuclear war and win it. And when that happens loans and fees will be history, as university education is free in North Korea. I just hope Kim Jong-un shoots film and decides that every surviving citizen of the world deserves a Leica and the accompanying lenses.

You think that crazy kid would know how to use film?

If he's lucky he will get one in on South Korea and within a few minuets North Korea will be gone.....Major disaster but far from the end so loans and fees will continue and so will Leica and their customers.

He most certainly prefers digital so that people who've been recently executed (*) can easily be edited out of official photos.

(*) contrary to popular belief, none of these people were fed to wild dogs: the last dog in N. Korea was eaten in 1986.

Graddaddy Kim invented the Leica and taught the Germans how to build it.
daddy Kim invented the Nikon and the Japanese stole it.
The current Kim will begin manufacturing Kodachrome, which was also invented by the Kim family.

But they won't call it Kodachrome, they'll call it Kimachrome.
