SOLD! THANKS ALL. HAPPY NEW YEAR

You've seen how much the late Gold Rim and Gold Dot Dagor's go for. I think this lens outperforms them, and I'll only get about 20% of the Dagor price.

Schneider woke up one morning in the Graphic Arts printing business and needed an incredibly sharp lens with wide coverage. They had already bought American Optical Co. so they owned the Dagor design. Not sure if Kern built these or not. But they are spectacular performers.

These Dagor type G-Clarons do something magic with the contrast. Everything falls in place and you will get beautiful images with one of these. It covers 8X10 with a fair amount of movements. The final image at the bottom was done with one of these and the poor old Kodak 2D front standard was racked up as high as the complaining bellows could allow. Covered nicely.

This lens has a cosmetic problem. Something long ago in it's working life has caused a stain on the front element coating that looks like color rings like oil on water. That freaks people out because sometimes when elements de-laminate they look like that too. This is not that! I offer a satisfaction guarantee. This lens is superb in use and this very minor "flaw" is cosmetic only.
