Wow. Now these are very nice cameras and they are very affordable.
I am selling an Agfa Super Silette L. It has a coupled rangefinder, a bright viewfinder, an accurate shutter with an LVS system that couples the aperture scale to the shutter speed, and a very nice, uncoupled exposure meter. The viewfinder is clear with no fungus and the rangefinder patch is nice and contrasty allowing quick focusing.
The Agfa 50mm f2.8 Solinar lens on this camera is clean with no fungus. This is a very nice Tessar style lens, is especially color corrected to work perfectly with color slide and negative film, and is on all of Agfa and Ansco’s higher rated cameras. The aperture scale runs from f/2.8 to f/22. The Synchro-Compur leaf shutter it sits in has speeds from 1 second to 1/500 seconds including a bulb setting. The shutter is flash synchronized for electronic flash and flash bulbs. The shutter speeds are accurate and the shutter lever is very nice.. The light value system (LVS) used by this camera links the aperture and shutter speed so that once you have set an exposure you can rapidly adjust the aperture or shutter speed and the exposure stays accurate. On some Agfa cameras this system can be a bit frustrating as they make it a little more difficult to change the exposure setting when the light changes. This camera makes these change very easy to do.
This camera is very nice and is a very clean example of one of Agfa’s better 35mm cameras from the 1950s. It comes with a very nice hard shell leather case.
Now comes the best part. If you are interested you can have the camera for $30. Total...only $30 dollars buys you all this. Exposure meter, coupled rangefinder, easy flash synchronization even in daylight. That $30 includes the Paypal fees and the shipping.
