Where do you get 70mm film developed / processed?
I can't seem to find anyone with the tanks and capability to develop a full 15 ft roll of the 70mm film.
Which seems to be the whole benefit of it... else just use 120 and 220 lengths of medium format roll film.
I presume the 70mm film could be loaded onto 220 spools for developing if cut down in length.
(220 film is approximate 64 inches or 5.3 ft in length vs 15 ft for normal 70mm film canister)

Like other's who shoot 70mm these days I developed my own. There are some reels and tanks out there but they rarely come up for sale, so I use a Patterson type reel and modify it to hold the film. I haven't shot more than 10 frames at a time since it's difficult to load the film on the Patterson reels, but if you have the right reels for this film you can then shoot many more frames.

The other option is to slit the film down to 120 size. I have a slitter and though I can now make my own 120 rolls it's difficult if you don't have a proper darkroom. I'm not really interested in doing this anymore.

How difficult would it be to slit this down to 120? I already take 35 down to 16 and wonder if there's a unique challenge to do this with 70mm. Would you part with your 120 slitter?

The only film perforated was the Rollei.
