This is Leica # 30,634 which was originally a Leica I camera made in 1930. Camera was converted to a Leica II, which was common. The camera has been repainted at some point in its 92 year history. The engravings also appear to have been repainted and covered with plastic or varnish? The paint job is amateurish. The camera works although the shutter is bone dry and needs a CLA. Slow speeds sticky. Curtain looks ok. Rangefinder accurate although vertical alignment off a bit. RF window a bit hazy. Viewfinder window clear. Shutter speed dial is cockeyed and needs repair. The lever for rewind/advance is loose and needs repair. As-is it works, but it needs TLC. $ 219 plus shipping
