Sold: This listing is for a beautiful 1956 double-stroke Leica M3. I purchased the camera in mid-2020 from Tamarkin Leica in Chicago and in their sale listing it was described as Exc.++. I agree with that evaluation. Further, before the sale I confirmed that it had been completely serviced by Tamarkin technicians. This camera along with a 50mm Summicron DR (not included in this listing) gave me a lot of pleasure but my mobility is limiting my photo walks and I don’t want to see it gathering dust in a drawer. During my period of ownership I treated it kindly like the treasure that it is. These photos are the actual camera that is listed. The price for this Exc.++ Leica M3 rangefinder including body cap is $1099 (USD) plus shipping which will be calculated at the time of purchase. The cameral will travel via Canada Post / USPS as a tracked and insured package which will require a signature at destination. Be assured that it will be very well packaged. That's a very good price, I was talking to a stallholder at a camera fair just over a week ago, he has a shop as well. He had M3's on his stall and because I have one we talked prices, and that's low end, but then UK/Europe prices are maybe 30%+ higher.

Hope it finds a great new home
