Yes, you can use it. It could be that the formula really meant di-hydrate, but if it meant anhydrous, you can figure the molecular weight of the tri-sodium citrate is 258. The weight of 2 waters is 36. So the ratio of the hydrated to anhydrous is 294/258 = 1.14.
So use 1.14 times more of your hydrated form. It most likely won't make much difference.
