I've been asking for a Minolta SR-2 - which is actually Minolta's first SLR but named their second SLR SR-1, but it looks like it's going to be a lump of coal instead. I say that it's because it's a weird year but most likely because I don't deserve one . . . :whistling:

How about you, do you have the inside scoop on whether or not you're getting what you asked for . . . deserving or not . . .

I've been wanting a black F2. It will probably be after the holidays, though...

It will fit in nicely with my F, F3, and F4.

A replacement silvestri but i suspect santa is going to tell me where to go (and its not to the shop to buy a silvestri)

I'd like a Leica M3 to keep my M4 and M-A company, but I don't think St. Nick is going to be bringing one this Christmas.

To be thirty pounds lighter and fifty years younger, but still remain so incredibly handsome and highly intelligent.

Nothing really. Don’t need more stuff. Instead I’ve been thanking The Almighty for what I already have and beseeching an end to both the plague and institutionalized hatred we are experiencing.

I asked Santa to monetize whatever he had planned to get me and I gave it to the local food bank

Santa skips my house. Get gelt instead.

Got some Vision 3 50D and 250D short ends for myself. Mail is all tied up though, it'll get here someday.

I don't need a new camera. I need to get past the pandemic, so I can dream of exotic locales to use the ones I have.

I have enough cameras, I'm getting a new computer for Christmas, I have had my current one for more than for seven years.

I've been trying. This is the worst time in the past decade to try to build a computer. There are no parts available and what is available is way over priced.

Someone here, Brian, kickstarted my need to get rid of gear, not add more!

This has been a very bad year with personal loss and heart ache. And unfortunately I am not alone.
All I wish for is love and health for all.

Sorry about that - you have my sympathies.
And I agree with your wish.
I wouldn't mind something though to at least partially replace the RB67 I reluctantly sold this year.
I have an irrational desire for a 6x8 rangefinder.

Are there such beasts beyond the Fujis?
6x8 appears to be almost entirely an in Japan market phenomenon. Other than the 6x8 version of the "Texas Leicas" made by Fuji (to which you refer), and the extremely clunky 6x8 back for the RB67, the only other manifestation I've seen is the wonderful but huge Fuji GX680 SLR.

Is it 8 shots per 120 roll or 9?

Very Goldilocks! I hope you find what you are looking for.

9 - and they fit perfectly in a single Printfile negative holder sheet.
I also like the aspect ratio, which is shared by 4/3 and micro 4/3 digital, 110 film, 6 x 4.5 film and 5 x 7 film (almost).

Well, at least we know that the current plague will come to an end . . .

I love Fuji rangefinders. I think I'm going to need to wait for next Christmas. Fuji Pro MF SLR is 6x8.
