Smokey - Kinda OT

Just picked up a Hi-Matic E off the bay and it and the strap are very smokey. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of it? I have it outside now, under cover in case it rains but I think it will take too long work well. Thanks

buy a new strap and then rub the camera with a rag sprayed with febreze.
