Rolleiflex 2.8E got banged on the side while getting into car… the camera swung into the car door, breaking the housing on the meter. See photos.

How difficult of a repair is this? Worth getting fixed, or just leave as is (and not use meter)?

As Bill mentioned, yes get it fixed. I even have a spare NOS cover for my 2.8F.

Get it fixed if possible, otherwise get a replacement light meter.

Be aware that there are two attachment methods for the meter block and this leads to two external screw arrangements. Everyone here has linked to the type you need- a hole below the meter bump with two side holes, and a hole above the clear section.

There is also the F version with two holes on the bump itself.
