A few years ago I had moderate success with my Epson 2200, but it is getting a bit tempermental (and always has been!) and I'm looking for a replacement the HP9180 looks like the best direct replacement, but I have no desire (today) to do huge PT prints so I am hoping to find a less expensive option that take just standard letter size paper. My leaning is to toward HP, but I have zero experience with digital negs except for with my 2200.

Suggestions?????

Thanks -- Mark

I've been doing okay with the HP B9180 after a couple of negs. No complaints so far in producing digital negs for silver gelatin contact prints. I haven't tried for albumen yet.
