I ask in this thread inventive ways to slit film accurately. This might involve precisely slitting a 120 roll so that it becomes two lengths, each 31mm wide. Or might involve slitting a 46mm bulk roll so that each length is 23mm wide.

My request does not have to encompass more than a 3 foot length of film at a time. I know that there are machines meant for this purpose but my request comes for being able to do this inexpensively, without major upheaval, and probably involves merely securing a short length of film (3 feet or less) upon a clean, flat surface and being able to accurately use a razor to cut it. Some of you might have this procedure down and there might be a very simple way to do this. Thank you all. - David Lyga.

And it works beautifully. I have one. And I'll enthusiastically recommend it. Mine will slit 120 film into a strip suitable for 127 and Minolta 16 cartridges.
