While using the remote control to advance slides in my Rollei P355, the arm sometimes doesn't catch the slides squarely and jams them against the side of the slot, requiring manual intervention. Worse still, it managed to mash a card mount Kodachrome transparency on the way back out, bending it almost in half and trapping it inside the projector! If I operate the arm manually, the problem still tries to happen, it's just that I can feel the resistance and pull back before the jam occurs.

The problem is worse with thicker plastic and card mounts. Never happens on the thin plastic Kodachrome, or equally thin Pakor mounts.

I thought this was a reasonably good quality projector. Is this normal? Maybe something is out of alignment?
