^^^^ Thanks. I may grab some of that when my current stock runs low.

split means more than 1 dev/tray can be 2 or 3 chems mixed either to dif strengths or chem properties..View attachment 173729
this is 2 tray : T1 is 50,60,600 ml of standard lith dev (pulled at 4 1/2 mins)
T2: is bromide, hydroxide ... bulk chems mixed in 2 liters water// USE WITH VENTILATION
T2: runs until 'done' - about 1 minute
as day progresses, refresh T1 10-20 ml per print (depending upon carry over)
as T2 slows, add a "splash" of T1 to bring out "color"

classic T1 = base & T2 - upper method of printing

Thanks - usually for lith I do two trays, my regular lith brew (LD20 or Arista) and then mostly warm water, maybe 20% OB. Slows the snatch point & gives some more control, and lets the highs come through a bit more.

What's your ratio for T2? I have all those chems. thanks again!

Can you describe the benefit of this two tray method?

I have made some more prints on the Slavich papers I have and all I can say is WOW! Their single weight fiber paper is absolutely stunning!! I have the glossy paper, and after drying it up on a paper dryer with a ferrotype plate, it has a beautiful gloss that I just cannot stop looking at. I have ordered some more of this stuff- and I do hope that it will stick around for a while. Unless it is remarkably popular outside of the US, I cannot see how Slavich is having enough orders to keep going- but who knows. Wonderful, wonderful materials.
