IOn the copy stand is that a pan tilt head attached to the stand? I was able to find a nice Sinar pan tilt head, that MAKES the camera complete.

Hi Mike,

Yep I have four or five Norma green pan tilt heads. And a modern black one too. Of course they made a clamping set for the P that matches the camera. So easy to put together a modern version of what I have if you want

Kumar is selling a nice green set here:

Some with modern Sinars paint the old Norma green stuff with black Krylon

I wouldn't paint anything that's sacrilege .

I have an extra Beseler 4x5 mxt chassis and adust-a-table that would make an amazing copy setup, no room right now.

How does one use polasceens on flash with an additional polarizing filter on the camera?? Does anyone (Rosco) make large sheets of polarized films??

Full disclosure, I bought two of the P2s, too cheap to pass up, strike when the Iron is hot!

Now I need to go load some film holders, too icy to go outside.

You put the polarizing filters rotated to the same plane on the lights and one set to the same plane on the lens. Compensate for the light loss and shoot.

I totally agree it is sacriledge! I've repainted Norma boards back to Norma green. The photographer I bought my 8x10 Norma from repainted the rear standard, it was rough. He was a former professional painter and he did a fabulous job .

Enjoy your P2's. Great studio camera. I got my polarizing gels from B&H. Work great with strobes

Actually I am saving a fortune, by using my Wife's D50 Canon (she has loaned it to me) and I have discovered that digital has a use beyond internet posting. I use it for tuning up camera and lights before switching to film for final shoot. I have a lot of old Fujiroid but it's getting old

Yes, I agree that digital is great for setting up lights. Faster than peel apart film too.
