Sinar Auto Aperture Shutter

Hello folks,
Just checking to see if it would be worth the effort/cash to repair a sinar auto shutter to be used on my f1 with some petzval lenses. i know someone who is selling one for 50.00 US which is a great price however the shutter is jammed.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You could always use a hat or a Packard shutter - both are cheap and work quite well. Do you know exactly what's wrong with the shutter as in, what made it jam? Ron W.

I have been using a packard and lens caps for the last few years, just wanted something more accurate and faster since I have acquired more barrel lenses.
Not sure what is the issue is with the sinar shutter, i have read where it can get pretty complicated to repair since I posted this.
