I hope this is not a re-post.

I recently found Simon Robert's blog and a couple of posts regarding his editing techniques were interesting and I thought I'd share. He's most famous for his book "Motherland", I think, which he shot on a Mamiya 7.

Anyway, here are the blog posts, I especially liked the spiral bound book idea and it's nice to see photos being selected by looking at prints, not computer screens.

Yes it is nice to pick from prints.

The other interesting thing is the implied thought that the contact sheet and the small prints are "really" proofs not a finished product.

I like his style. So many prints, must take a long time to go through all of them.
