I have downloaded a trial version and working with it. It seems to be able to do a lot of nice things, and I hope that it will ease my workflow for alt proceses.

Do any of You have experiences with this program.

I have now used the trial version and it makes beautiful negs for alt processes.

Also played with the trial version. I like the filter simulation very much,
works great with color slides turned into BW and looks really realistic.

I downloaded the trial version as well. It does a very nice conversion and I was quite impressed. I especially liked the structure slider. I don't know quite what it was doing, but I liked the results. It's on my wish list, but that's a long list

I am curious about the accuracy of the film types. I've only used T-Max and HP5 ( 4x5 & 8X10 ) and I was surprised at how contrasty they were compared to pan-x or other low ISO film choices. I consistently preferred using the these less contrasty choices.

Should I be giving these lower ISO films a try?

Rob, can't speak for T-Max (I haven't that film) but HP5 (400) is definitely less contrasty to say lower ISO film FP4 (125). Try to shoot each on a contrasty light and you'll immediately understand what I'm talking about.

That's from a HP5 negative, I can't think myself shooting that with FP4! (At least without doing ZS or BTZS calibration - this image was developed normal.)
