Here in the U.S., nearly every dollar store sells containers filled with silica gel beads, for the purpose of placing the container into small enclosed areas, such as closets, lockers, etc. A lot of silica gel for relatively little money.
Perhaps Canadian dollar stores have something similar?

I think I'll wrap all my lenses in Pampers diapers. Those are full of silica gel.:D

If your going to do that , I would recomend you buy some new ones .
I'm all for recycling , but well , you know ......:sick:

It doesn't matter... my images are crap anyway. :wink:

Silica gel is pretty common in packing material. I work in tech support and I got a bunch when we deployed 21 computers in our Mac lab a few years back. Apple packs their Imacs with silica gel. The great thing is you can dry them out to recharge them.

I've bought it at American Scientific & surplus. Inexpensively.
