Silica Gel Desiccant
Mulitsorb Tecnologies
about 1 lb. per package

Brand New, never used. I purchase a sealed container and have more than I will ever need.

The following info is from several web sites that sell this.

Protects 30 cubic feet. Once saturated with water, the gel can be regenerated by heating it to 120 °C (250 °F) for two hours. Can absorb 40% of its weight with water.

Tyvex is virtually dust free and more tear and puncture resistant when compared to cotton.
Note! The package states "Not Regenerative", however, I think that is because this is for protecting medical products.

$7 each, 2 for $12 5 for $25 plus Priority Mail shipping.

New and improved price. Each bag is good for something like 15 cubic feet. These are big bags, not the tiny ones that came with your camera or lens.

1 for $5, 3 for $13, 5 for $20 plus Priority Mail shipping.

That stuff is great for drying out your Sony Headphones with the little controller to operate your Ipod etc. I keep a zip lock bag of it lying around for that purpose.

I could use desiccant but I'm confused here. You talk about Tyvek - is this a giant 1 lb. Tyvek bag? Or a 1 lb. bag of more little bags? And is it a 1 lb. bag for $5 or...what exactly?

1 bag is, as you stated, a giant 1 lb. bag. It is not the little bags inside. Brand new, never used.
