Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced shutter speed tester? I see some new ones for sale on EBay, anywhere from $15 to $150. I need one to test my 3 large format (4X5) lenses. Haven't used them in a while and would like to know what the shutter speeds are before making my own mistakes in exposure.

Another member of this forum (hexavalent) built his own and it works great. We both use it. I have zero skills in DIY electronics but from what I recall, it is not terribly complicated if you know what you are doing. Send him a message.

Two fellows from Apug both offer their own tester. One in the USA, the other in Europe.
