Hi Guys,

I'm hoping you can help.

After lurking about here for a while I was inspired by all the great chat / advice on here to 'splash' out on a medium format camera as my re introduction to film cameras.

I've just got a Kershaw 630 Folding camera with a Vario shutter - it looks to be in pretty good nick, and this may seem like a daft statement, but there isn't any obvious shutter release except for a remote cable release - is this normal, or am I missing something

The remote release does link to a catch, but operation of it is obscured by the folding mechanism.

Thanks in advance

Chris

And yes, it was a stupid question!!!

A bit of further examination revealed part of the folding door acts as the shutter release - it's just quite well hidden!

Doh!
