A quick update on the repair:

The Belplasca is reassembled since some weeks ago and everything works like a charm now!

I was able to adjust the shutter speeds and they are now perfectly correct, except for 1/10s which is too fast and more like 1/15 or 1/18 but thats not too much of a problem.

It seems like the problem with the shutter really was the old oil in the escapement. Very good guess from you guys! Thanks you so much for your help!

Solving them in benzine and re lubricating with watchmakers oil was a good solution to the problem.

The Belplasca is fascinatingly well built and nice to repair!

I wasnt able to clean the front lens elements. I could finally remove some of the rings but you have to remove about four of them and the last one didnt open. Any ideas?

The fog in one of the lenses is not so much of a problem but you do notice it when photographing against some bright light. I think i wouldnt care if it wasnt stereo. But having one more foggy frame infront of only one eye, the other being clear, creates an impression like you had some milky slime on the eye.

Any ideas highly appreciated!

By the way, the stereoscopic images this camera produces are fascinating!

I really like this camera!
