I realize we are off the beaten path, but if you happen to find yourself color touring in Northern Michigan over the next month, I invite you to visit the Three Pines Gallery in tiny Cross Village. I will be having a show along with photographer Roger Craton where I will be displaying about 20 prints made in the area over the years. The first time actually exibiting this work very near where the photographs were made. The open is Saturday, September 22 from 2-7 PM and all are welcome. If coming, let me know... I'll by you a beer at the nearby Dead Link Removed.

Opening Reception: September 22, 2-7 p.m.

I can't tell you how many times I've watched the sun set from the Legs Inn. Good luck and congrats with the show.

Thanks everyone! Looking forward to doing something in the "neighborhood". John! Wish you could stop by for a sunset and a beer!

Cross Village is now on the map! Good luck, Bill. Wish i could make it. I'll post the press release if i can get my hands on it.

Congratulations Bill. Lucky locals to see work equal to the great images you showed us last summer. Wish the same group could all be there with you this time. Break a leg.

Bill, I wish I could make it there to see your show. All the folks up there are in for a real treat! Have a great time.

All the best,
Daniel

Bill if you were consciously using the 'h' in John, I'd be there with bells on if I was a bit closer than here. Looks like a grand location for an exhibition.

and that bar has more river stones in it than my favourite fishing spot.

the cliff it sits on over looks lake michigan. On a summer's day after a long paddle down river and a few too many bevies it is one grand place to watch the sun go down.

Hi Bill, I might have jumped in my vehicle to drive over, if only for that beer! Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I'll be heading West to go see some of our prairie which is beautiful this time of year.
I wish you the best with the exhibit! Sounds like a fun project.

best of luck with your show bill.
i wish i was nearby, i would LOVE to see
some of your work upcloseandpersonal.

all the best,
john

Business will be keeping me in Harbor Springs over the weekend, so it looks like I will be able to make the show.

I am looking forward to seeing it.

best of luck with your show, Bill: I wish I could get up there to see it. Maybe you can time one for next year's APUG event?

Mike

Thanks all for the well wishes! Mike... thanks, it would be good to get some sort of showing of everyone's work!

Dan... great to hear you'll be around. It will be good to meet you and I'll make good on the Legs offer!

It was a wonderful show. I hope it has a successful run. It was really good to meet Bill and Joe from APUG. I look forward to meeting up with them again in the future.

Dan! I can't thank you enough for coming as well as going out for dinner afterward. It was really good to meet you and I do hope you can come back next June for "Photostock" as FirePhoto Dan calls it. You cut out at the right time... the party just got wilder when we adjourned to Don's fire pit.

Joe! I was completely surprised and honored at your presence. I hear the party went on until 5 AM! I'm glad we left when we did. Sorry Kelly fell all over you, but it was better there than in the fire. We'll let folks wonder at that one... Seems you were on hand for one of the more memorable bonfires my friend!

Thanks again you guys. Openings aren't my favorite things and you made this one breeze by.

Thanks Jerry. I appreciate you stopping in. Was back there myself last week and am surprised at how much traffic there has been in sleepy little CV. Lots of "Leaf Peepers" about!

Bill
