Hey there! I’m a filmmaker based in Vancouver, and recently launched a web pilot on the culture of analogue photography. If we get enough love from the film community, we will hopefully create more episodes.

Direct link to YouTube.

Thanks for your interest.

Well thank you Ryan. what's old is new and the young ones need to see this and hopefully Photrio also!!
have a great day!!
Peter

Indeed, what's old is new again. There's definitely interest from the younger crowd and the conversation of how much film cameras have gone up in value kept popping up. Thanks so much Pete, glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you. Welcome to APUG Photrio You even included a Hasselblad!

Thanks for posting Ryan! I've been a subscriber of BighheadTaco for over a year. Love his channel. Impressed with the work you two did in Hong Kong last year. I spend a lot of my free time wandering around the GVRD with either a couple of Nikons, or a couple of Leicas. Figure I'll eventually cross paths with Take in my travels. All the best to both of you!

That was a great video ... keep going.
The images of Mr. Chan's shop really brought back memories of the little camera stores in downtown Toronto.

Thanks Dennis, we're trying!

In this link below there's an orange bar for voting. If we get enough votes, they will award us money for the next episodes.
Voting is open now and goes until this Friday, so spread the word! You can vote once a day/per device. Thanks for your support!

Gave up within the first 30 seconds, the background music was doing my head in. Why oh why does every video on every subject these days seem to need background music?

Excellent in every way!!!

Hey Ryan,
I decided to watch this doco while towelling off from a SUPing session at the beach, and it was most interesting and honest.
But I'll tell you what the standout quality of this video is: the running subtitles. These keep hearing impaired people, like me, 'in the loop' and engaged when viewing things like this. As for background music... erm... what music??

Hi neighbour (sort of).
I enjoyed your video, and voted as requested.
I like the fact that you featured Nicole and Kathy at Beau - they have certainly helped feed my 50+ year fervour.

Second that. Redo the sound without that nervous sort of music. It destroys what you want to achieve.
It doesn't need ANY music. I'm sure most people these days think they're producing The Fast And The Furious with all the intrusive, dramatic music that seems compulsory with any video whatsoever these days. This is an analogue photography info video, not a high octane crash and burn blockbuster!

I've been watching other videos from the OP's channel. IMO, these are better than any I've seen on websites such as youtube. I have only positive comments. I'll be looking for more publishers on that website.
