Shopping for Pyrocat HD and FX-2 in Europe

I know I could order this developers as ready to use packages through Photographers formulary in the US, but is there any chance to get the mentioned developers to buy somewhere in Europe online or by telephone?

Any hints?

Isn't Tanol from Moersch almost identical to Pyrocat HD? Just thought it was.

I would think that they do ship to Germany. Their shipping page says "We cannot ship Hazardous materials internationally" which would imply International is OK for non-hazardous.

I have had shipments from Photographers Formulary to Sweden. No problem. Quite fast as well.

there are some items in monochrome and they are in Germany
it is not Pyrocat HD but PMK is almost identical as far as I read. Except the dev. times

Serdar, I know them...and actually think the prices are quite high as well. I used to mix my own developer, but at the moment I don't have the time to do it. And I like to have repeatable results, so I triy to eliminate the variables at the moment. But still I will give it a try...I mean, I guess with the Euro gaining strength I will order directly in the US...if this is no problem...

Hmm, I am still looking for a place in Europe. I think it might be easier for delivery but the euro prices and the pound are quite high for me too. US prices are great but the shipping becomes so expensive and possible problems with the customs office.

It was back in 2006, but then it was no problem to have Lotus ship PyrocatHD to Sweden. I don't think that it have changed.

Almost all developers and fixers are slightly corrosive, this means that concentrates fall into the category of class 8 dangerous goods, in other words they are considered hazardous materials.

I hope you're wrong I send them a email, stating exactly what I want and asking if shipping to Germany will be possible for these developers.

just got a response from Photographers Formulary...for 34 dollars they will ship wimberelys, fx2 and pyrocat to me to Germany...in up to 10 business days...

I am expecting a response from digitaltruth, I would inform you about their international shipping fee. I think 34 is quite ok for international shipping and formulary's prices are quite good.

getting raw chemistry in germany/austria/europe seems to become more and more of a hassle.
brenner stopped carrying it, so did foto mayr. and with the special chemistry suppliers it's always kind of a roulette game if they will sell you a certain substance or not.
i don't have much dichromate left and when i run out, i'm really starting to worry if i can get some more. and dichromate can't be shipped internationally. not even Moersch has it anymore.
the last straw would be the 2% solution from photo formulary, which can be shipped internationally (i hope...)

And if things go wrong the customs office . I can't find anything except kodak, ilford and tetenal here in Turkey. Even tetenal is rare and expensive.
