So I am travelling to the west coast in a couple days & I am considering taking along my 4X5 field camera. I am planning on shipping a box of TMax2 400 & film holders ahead FedEx overnight to arrive at my sisters house.

Before I do this, I just wanted to check with the collective mind of APUGgers to see if this is still the best way to transport large format film across the country. Or is there a better way?

Any thoughts or opinions?

my Freestyle orders come by FedEx

And I doubt that they would do so if there were problems.

Of course, there is always the lead bag for extra insurance.
