Hello everyone!

I recently purchased a new Shen-Hao HZX 4X5-IIA camera and noticed that there was something odd with the front end of the bellows. Attached is a picture:

When folding up the camera, the bellows at the front don't always align properly due to this. It was this way when I purchased it.

Surely the bellows aren't supposed to look like this?

Many thanks!

I think you're right. The front part doesn't seem to have the stiffness as the rear end of the bellows

Thanks!

I've never seen a shen hao with a "universal" bellows, didn't know they made one. they certainly don't look like chamonix's universal bellows which would fit this camera.

I have exactly this camera and have same issue, but i never care or worry about it, i just manually align the bellow and fold it fine, this will not make me to replace it, because i may get a better 4x5 body than this one, but this is going to do the job for a while i hope.

I bought one new from Badger and it does not look like that. That's just wrong in my mind.
